James Posnett

James Posnett is General Manager, Listings at the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) in Sydney. He has over 20 years’ experience in financial markets in Australia and internationally.

Since joining ASX in 2012 he has been responsible for the development of the listings and capital raising business, both domestically and globally. He works with companies from a broad range of industry sectors, including technology, healthcare and resources. James formerly worked in London for New York Stock Exchange and Euronext (NYSE Euronext) in the capital markets and trading businesses, most recently as Managing Director, International Listings. He has also worked for BNP Paribas Equities in Sydney.

James holds a BSc (Hons) from Loughborough University and an MBA from the University of Adelaide.
