Kirstin is the Chief Executive Officer of Birchal, Australia’s leading crowdsourced funding platform which provides quick and low cost access to capital for companies whose passionate supporters are their superpower.

Kirstin is an experienced start-up and high-growth business executive with a focus on fintech businesses at the intersection of activism and capitalism: former Managing Director at Techstars Tech Central Sydney Accelerator, co-Founder and former CEO at Future Super, former executive at Brighte, founding chairperson at Ocean Impact Organisation and long-time mentor with Blackbird's Giants and Startmate programs. In her spare time Kirstin is on the board of Morphic Ethical Equities (ASX:MEC), a Vinemaker at Grapevine and parent to 11 year old Elizabeth.

Kirstin is also a reformed lawyer (Freehills) and management consultant (Bain & Co), where she spent 10 years advising some of the largest companies and charities in Australia and Canada. Her expertise includes technology-driven transformation, organisational design, due diligence and productivity improvement in financial services, telecommunications and private equity. She has been a serial intrapreneur within these professional services firms, driving new internal policies on parental leave and flexible working, as well as new charitable partnerships.
