Raaj Rayat

Raaj Rayat is an Investment Manager at Airtree where he focuses on pre-seed to growth investments across Australia and New Zealand. He also serves as a board observer supporting some of Airtree’s SaaS and FinTech portfolio companies.
 

Prior to Airtree, Raaj was an early employee of Lendable, a FinTech startup using data science to expand fair access to financial services in emerging markets. Raaj worked as a data scientist and investor in Nairobi and London, helping Lendable scale from zero to $250m+ invested across 10+ countries in 4 years.
 

Raaj completed his Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics at La Trobe university, studied at Peking University in China, and is a CFA charterholder. He has invested, studied, and travelled across 40+ countries.
