Richard Joffe is the Founder and CEO of Honey Insurance which launched in 2021 and has raised $125m to shake up the Home Insurance oligopoly in Australia. Honey customers are >3x happier than the average in the industry, which has led the company to become the 6th fastest growing technology company in Australia along with Richard winning Entrepreneur of the year in 2023.

Previously, Richard founded and sold two other technology companies. Park Assist, which automated the parking industry through the use of green and red sensors in car parks, and after expanding to 20 countries was acquired by TKH in 2012. Then Stella.ai which automated the recruitment industry using AI, and was acquired as part of a US$1.1 billion merger with Trustaff.

Before his startup life, Richard was a consultant with McKinsey and an investment banker with Morgan Stanley, both focussed on the technology sector.
